1974 – Governor Shapp Orders State Attorney General to Review Sunshine Laws

In 1974, Governor Shapp was concerned with the newly proposed Sunshine Act, that would exempt the Judiciary from its intended provision of transparency in government.  He wrote a letter to his Attorney General, asking him to review how this law would effect the checks and balances system. The review of the law is below.
